The Tellico Village Computer Users Club (TVCUC), founded in 2001, helps our members strengthen their knowledge and skills with personal computers and other technology devices. As technology has advanced, we’ve stayed current so we can continue supporting you effectively. Our First Level Support (FLS) team of experts provides one-on-one technical help whenever issues arise — answering about 120 support calls each month from members. Through our Technology Access Program (TAP), we extend our mission to neighboring communities by refurbishing and donating computers, free of charge, to children, families and individuals who otherwise couldn’t afford them.

For this month’s President’s Message, I want to spotlight the many exciting things that have been happening in our Communications Department. The Communications Committee is led by Larry McJunkin, and I’ve asked him to share an update with all of you. (Read Buddy's entire President's Message.)
We’re excited to announce our transition to a new online membership portal and database, powered by Join It. This system makes it easier to join or renew your membership and gives us the flexibility to add more benefits in the future. As part of this upgrade, we no longer use TellicoLife for memberships. Sometimes, the answer to a perplexing technology problem can be something very simple, and easy to do yourself. Our Technology Tip of the Week will help you learn some of the important aspects of using your technology devices. First Level Support is a team of volunteer members of the Tellico Village Computer Users Club (TVCUC) who are willing to share their time and extensive knowledge in assisting our club members to fix problems with their computers and other technology devices. We currently average over 100 support calls monthly, and typically return your call within 24 hours. (Learn more about FLS.)
FLS Needs Your Help. Do you have a working knowledge of computers, especially Windows 11? The Tellico Village Computer Club (TVCUC is seeking volunteers to join our First Level Support (FLS) Team and assist individuals who need a helping hand with technology, which is a great way to share your skills. If you enjoy using computers, are technology-savvy and share a passion for helping others, we’ll equip you with the tools and guidance to make a meaningful impact. (Learn more about this opportunity.)
The Technology Access Program (TAP), a community outreach arm of the 501(c)(3) Tellico Village Computer Users Club, is chartered to provide complete computer systems at no cost, to children, individuals, and families who cannot otherwise afford them. These systems enable economically disadvantaged students to better compete with their peers, which was especially important during the pandemic. (Learn more about TAP.)
An annual household membership is only $20 and the most important benefit is peace of mind. When something goes sideways with one of your technology devices, call our First Level Support (FLS) and someone will respond, typically within a few hours.
Your membership not only benefits you and others in your household, but it helps further TAP, our outreach effort, to continue giving computers to deserving children and familes. (JOIN or RENEW your membership.)
We are extremely proud of our TAP program, which has provided over 11,000 computers to underprivileged children and families since 2007. While we founded this program with nonprofit grants, we still depend donations from folks like you.
