Mac Special Interest Group – Mac SIG (or Mac Users Group) —formed many years ago by Jan Miller—is an active, self-directed group led by Karen Brown. The group discusses and demonstrates programs related to the Apple environment. Because Apple’s product base includes iPhones and iPads, the group also attempts to bring its members up to speed on the increasing number of applications on these devices, although the focus of the meeting is on the Mac and its applications.
Mac SIG provides a network of Mac users to help both new and long-time users of the product line. We depend on members who have become proficient in various areas to share their expertise. Monthly email messages contain tips and tricks for enhancing members’ experience with Apple products.
Be sure to check UPDATES for the latest Mac NEWS from Karen.
Mac Users meet on the fourth Monday of the month at 3 p.m at the Chota Rec Center.
Meeting are held in January, February, March, April, September, & October.
If you have suggested presentation topics, please send them to Karen Brown.
Monthly email messages are sent to members at least a week before the meeting date. These messages include meeting information and tips and tricks for using your Mac.
If you’re a Mac user, but not a member of the TVCUC Mac SIG, contact Karen Brown to become a member of this very active special interest group.
Help is available by contacting First Level Support. As with First Level Support available to club members in the PC world, the Mac Users Group is also there to help those who have the “other” computer.
